A Word of Thanks to God

Who's going to straighten me up when I'm leaning?

Who's going to soothe my heart when it's burning?

Who's going to be the one to tell me everything's all right...?

- Collective Soul from "Goodnight, Good Guy"

Blessed be the name of the Lord throughout the universe. Who will not fear You, My God? My Lord and Saviour, who is like unto thee? Yes, Father, thank you for the saving blood of your Son. Thank You Jesus, thank You Yeshua, for sacrificing your life on my behalf. You paid the price for the evil that is in Me. There are times that I know that it was I, personally, that put you on the cross, that it was all my fault that You had to die. Thank You for loving Me more than words can express.

I have no hope in life without You, God. I have absolutely nothing; but with you I have everything; with you I have eternal life – a life unspeakable and beyond my limited understanding. I wait for your return, Lord Jesus, that I might be changed and be as You are, that I might be perfected as You are. Thank You, Jesus, thank You.

You have given me Your Spirit as a small down-payment on what I am to expect in Your Kingdom. I eagerly await You, Lord, groaning within as the world cares not for You and does not understand. And I mourn for them, as Satan has blinded them and turned their hearts into stone. Blessed be You, oh God, for You will turn their hearts of stone into hearts of flesh. Thank You that I have this hope for all humans, for I know that you will take Satan out of the way, and that the blindness shall be lifted from their eyes. Thank You. M
