A Place Of Refuge

In The Storm

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear ...." Psalm 46:1

"The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress." Psalm 46:11

Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken." Luke 21:25

"If My people, who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chron 7:14

My Beloved, America is a country known as a 'land of refuge', where people from every type of background, from every nationality, from every religion, have come to for safety, shelter, freedom and security. But you have seen great tragedy befalling your land and you see that more troublesome times are to come. You ask now "Where is our safety, our shelter and our security? What is to become of us?"

Haven't I said that I would have a place of refuge for My Faithful Ones? Those who have been forged in the furnace and even in the midst of a world that will be violently shaken, that you will know safety AND security. I have always had a place of refuge for My own.... The ark for Noah's family; Lot being hidden from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah; and even My Son - who was taken to a place of safety when a jealous king sought to destroy him.

When the great troubles come upon the world's scene, people will not be concerned with credentials, with prestige, with education, wealth, or the importance of their name. Some are already feeling hopeless, helpless, bewildered and defenseless - with pressures upon them that sometimes seem insurmountable. So many in pain, even yourself... BUT ... if you never felt pain - how could you feel joy?

Troubles are to come upon the world that will threaten human safety. Events of such magnitude and upheaval that the whole world will appear to be coming apart. You will continue to see the forcefulness of "nature" and you will continue to see "enemies" who are set against you. Adversity, suffering, devastation, destruction and even death are appearing on the horizon. But even so, haven't I said IF MY PEOPLE? Beloved, it always begins WITH MY PEOPLE ... turning from their wicked ways and humbling themselves and coming to Me in prayer, THEN I will forgive their sin and heal their land. Some of you say, "but what about the others?" No, My Beloved, it always begins with YOU !!!! MY hand could be staid just a bit longer, IF MY PEOPLE ..... Nevertheless, the time is approaching ... but ... As you see all that is coming upon the world, know that I have provided A PLACE OF REFUGE IN THE STORM ... A place of peace and confidence for you, regardless of what is going on around you and a place where you will give refuge to others that I will bring to you.

My Faithful ones have been forged in the furnace and even in the midst of a violently shaking world, you will know that your safety and security is In Me, for only I AM your helper, your rescuer, your deliverer, your Savior, your fortress, your shelter and present help in times of trouble and upon you shall rest My Mercy, My Grace and My Favor !!!

I AM gathering My Faithful Ones together. THIS IS THE TIME FOR YOU TO BELIEVE ME FOR THE GREATER THINGS, FOR I HAVE CALLED YOU TO A GREATER TASK !!! To prepare for the battle but also to get ready for the Victory. The stage is set for a Mighty Move and demonstration of My power. THE TIME FOR LUKEWARMNESS IS OVER FOR THIS IS THE HOUR TO TOTALLY "BELIEVE ME", THE GREAT I AM !!! My Beloved, My consecrated ones, WILL become who I intended you to be ....

Though many wonder where I AM at the present, I say unto you, even now in a seeming time of crisis, a great spiritual offense is in the making. It is time to stop looking at your circumstances and what you are enduring but to look only at ME! Beloved, there is no situation on earth where I will not reign supreme. I WILL NOT ALLOW MINE TO BE PUT TO SHAME!

You will continue to see Satan and his forces intensifying their efforts. But remember when Satan brought forth Pharaoh, I brought forth Moses. When he brought forth Ahab and Jezebel, I brought forth Elijah. As Satan, even now, is planning his future moves, I AM gathering you together !!! And as My people arise, you are going to meet the God of signs, wonders and miracles and ALL WILL SEE THAT THE GOD OF ELIJAH STILL LIVES !!! Yes, satanic influences and forces will intensify but every time he acts, My people will counteract for the I AM will be on the scene and for every intensification of evil, you will see a corresponding "greater manifestation of My power."

When the world is teeming from the gathering madness, they will need My Zion people, those forged in the fiery furnace of affliction and coming out as pure gold. Those who have been hidden In Me. Those, to other's standards, are a ragtag bunch of misfits, whom the world does not know. Those who I will shortly gather together and send forth. Those 'who will not seek what is in it for them,' for the only self that remains in you is for ME and what I have for you to do - Those going out into the highways and byways, proclaiming My Son and bringing countless numbers into My Kingdom. Those who will be healing the sick, raising the dead and proclaiming My "pure gospel" to the world. Those who will show them ME. Because at that moment there will be only one thing that will matter and it's not who you are, what you are, or how much you have ... No, what will matter is faith IN and relationship with ME. Love for ME, family and brethren.

THIS is where your wilderness training comes in, THIS is where all the heartaches and pain along your path will bear much fruit. My Faithful Ones, who have been walking by faith while enduring all the persecutions and rejections that came with your walk. My Glorious Beloved, who will not follow the signs, wonders and miracles ... BUT .... the signs, wonders and miracles will follow them !!!

I am bringing forth, "A People," who know their God and who shall do great exploits In My Name... My Faithful Ones who will move in obedience - and there will be an unprecedented release of finances, to those who have put their "TOTAL" trust and dependence IN ME. The world will see My Blessings upon My Own, those who are completely sold out to Me and in the midst of a world shaking, I WILL supply their every need.

The time is coming shortly, My Beloved, when man's empire WILL fall .. but ... Mine, MINE will just be beginning !!! REJOICE, LOOK UP, for REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH !!!!

I have said that I had a plan for you and now you will see it coming to pass. For not only will you be secure in a place of refuge, under My wings, but I will use you to provide "A PLACE OF REFUGE IN THE STORM."

Discernment In My Eagles

"Be very careful then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is." Eph 5:15-17

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." Isa 5:20

My Beloved, I have said that I AM gathering my eagles and many of you are excited and rightly so - but in your excitement, this is not the time to let down your guard. This is a moment in time when "DISCERNMENT IN MY EAGLES' must be fully operational. To be alert, wise, perceptive and discriminatory. A time when My eagles must exercise their extraordinary vision.

You are living in a time that discernment "must" be the watchword of the day. Looking into every situation, to see as I see, being led and guided by My Spirit. To "see" between truth and error. To examine all doctrinal statements whether it be from the pulpit, from television, from the prophetic or from other areas. Having eagle eyes of discernment seeing beyond surface motives and surface attitudes to the real person inside.

You must evaluate ALL in the light of My clear truth, for these are the days when some call evil good and good evil ... You must take a "stand" - NOW - for there is not much time and I will NOT have wishy/washy eagles! Prove all things and abstain from ALL appearance of evil, FOR THE COLOR OF MY EAGLES IS "GOLD" - SPEAKING OF DIVINE NATURE - ROYALTY AND MAJESTY...

My hidden ones, soon to be revealed, are called misfits. They see you as "eaglets", who are gawky and not the most pleasant to look upon ... But, right under their noses, My eaglets have been turning into beautiful, mature eagles.

You also have become most comfortable in your nest, even with all the problems, but now I AM disturbing the nest for you cannot soar if you stay comfortably where you are.

Many have emerged from your 'molting' season, where you have been stripped down to nothing and where I had My seasoned eagles dropping food for you, because they knew what you were going through, for they have been there themselves.

Next comes your release, not being bound to "earthly things", with your eagle eyes focused on ME. Now you are in a very strategic place, as you await that release. A place where you must have clear vision and discernment so that you will not be affected by every "wind" of doctrine. A vast area has been placed within your reach. You will encounter the counterfeit, but as you faithfully pray, I AM placing within you a discernment to know the real - the truthful - those seeking with a true heart. You will know them from the false, those out to try to destroy what I have prepared for you. Many will come in My Name - they are wolves in sheep's clothing wanting to devour My plans and purposes. You will know and sense the false. DISCERNMENT IN MY EAGLES ... and though "many" winds are blowing, you will only feel My Holy Wind, the Breath of the Living God - the Ruach ha'Kodesh.

My Judgment And My Glory

August 27, 2003

This was the day the Ten Commandments monument was

removed by judges' orders from the rotunda of the Alabama Judicial Building.

But if any nation will not hear and obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation. (Jer 12:17.)

They have seduced My people, saying Peace, and there was no peace. (Ezek 13:10.)

Hark, the uproar of a multitude in the mountains, like that of a great people. The noise of the tumult of the kingdoms of the nations, gathering together. The Lord of Hosts is mustering the host for the battle. (Is 13:4.)

When My right hand reaches out, you have My blessings and glory, but when My left hand reaches out, you behold discipline and judgment. The darkness is already coming upon the earth and is going to escalate, and My judgment will come upon the nations. I shall come to judge the earth with right- eousness and I will judge the world and its people with equity.

America, I have said that unless you get your heart straight, you WILL come under My judgment – suffering judgments as other nations have suffered, unless you repent and humble yourselves. I have said that I AM no respecter of persons OR nations. You think that you are invincible and above reproach, while shedding the blood of My innocent ones. YOU proclaim to be "one nation under God", but even now you choose to go your own way minus My name.

You have chosen to remove My Commandments brought down from My Holy Mountain. America, you are a divided nation, both in the natural and in the spiritual. You have made light of My precepts. Sexual promiscuity, the acceptance of "alternative lifestyles", destroying the unborn, adultery, violence, greed, love of money and possessions, are ALL perceived and projected by you as a viable way of life, without a second thought to My Sacred Commandments. You have traded My Truth for a lie, embracing evil, calling it good.

To My own I say this day, "Choose NOW whom you would serve."

America, BY MY HAND, as the fig tree, you have blossomed, and BY MY HAND you have risen to be the most powerful nation in the world. HOWEVER, as you turned to the pride of your own heart, you also have taken your own idolized precepts and perverted values to the world. You have forgotten your God. But you have had a Christian heritage handed down to you and so My hand has been upon you.

Most of you, and many in My Church, are saying, "God is in the heavens and all is well. Do not be afraid of the prophets of doom." You say, there is no evidence that My judgment will come to this land. Yes, I AM in the heavens, but all is NOT well on the earth! Only those of you who are right with Me are well. My prophet Jeremiah spoke of desolation and judgment on nations, and that it will come "quickly". I have spoken, but your ears have appeared to be closed.

Some, who say they are speaking for Me, say "Peace" and there is no peace. There will be no peace until the Prince of Peace returns and sets up His glorious kingdom upon this earth.

I have asked you time and time again, not to continue to take Me lightly. You have rebelled, not heeding your God. Did you think that I would allow rebellion to go on forever? If I judged the angels that sinned – if I judged the world of Noah with a flood – if I sent fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, can I continue to bless the United States of America? A country that has said, "Bless us, Lord, just don't tell us what to do!"

I have said, "LOOK! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. Turn from your evil ways! But you have kept to the stubbornness and deceitfulness of your own heart. I have been willing to show mercy, and I have urged you to repentance. I am a God of Righteousness, and I AM a God of Truth, and I SHALL rise up and take MY place and put an end to the evil in America. Only a turning away, in repentance, turning back to Me, from the highest levels of government to the households of this country, COULD HAVE stopped My judgment.

The days are at hand, the line has been crossed, and My judgment is at your door! Do not continue to blaspheme My Name and continue in your evil ways, for My Judgment will stand! No man, I say again, NO man will be able to stop what I have prepared! I will both judge and deliver My people. I have never brought judgment upon the world without first warning the people. My faithful prophets have wept and cried out to Me to have mercy, still they WILL speak My Words of judgment, at My command, for they are not "menpleasers" but "Godpleasers".

Yes, revival and harvest will come. You WILL see My Grace, My Blessings, My Glory AND you WILL see My Judgment. You will see them all.

My trump is making a CLEAR CALL to those getting ready for battle. Zion shall be redeemed with judgment and judgment shall come to America. I had extended you a period of grace, a "small window of opportunity" (to repent). But hear Me well, when My wrath begins to fall, NOTHING will save you. When My wrath begins to fall, those whose hearts are right with Me will go through the fire without burning. For those whose hearts are NOT right, DO NOT HESITATE, make right your heart NOW! As in the days of Noah, I found a righteous man, and in this time I have a few men and women, a remnant, of the faith and righteousness of Noah. From the four corners of the earth, I am raising up My people of faith, those belonging to Me. They will offer My hand to a sinful and rebellious people and many will take My hand.

In My remnant, My judges stand ready, prepared for their journey. They will judge, but with a broken heart and with compassion and love. For I have said, I will destroy the rich, the proud, the arrogant and overthrow those who have been strong in their own might, using manipulation, violence and intimidation to get their own way. For I have ordained and declared both judgment and justice. There is an "appointed time", only the I AM holds back the destruction by your enemies, and that time is nigh, even at your doors, for My prophetic timetable has begun this day. The prophetic clock has begun to tick for judgment.

However, there IS a "fire in Zion" of the first-fruit chosen saints who believe in deliverance to the uttermost, through sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience, and a belief of truth – to set them free to obtain the Glory of Jesus Christ. A great and strong people set in the full armour of My spirit, like the noise of chariots. I am ready to release one of My greatest achievements to date – a People called out from amongst them, My Forerunners, My Ambassadors, My Messengers, My Royal Priesthood. They will be sent forth "PROCLAIMING" salvation to the lost, "ANNOUNCING" the judgment hour and "HERALDING" My Son's arrival. They have stayed on the straight and narrow path, submitting only to Me – My faithful ones, who have been quietly waiting, bringing no attention to themselves. They have learned My ways and have but one desire and one desire only, and that is to serve Me, and then to serve others.

They do not care about or seek recognition, power, or prestige, for there is no place for these in them. They have been belittled by others, but have stayed the course, for all that matters to them is Me and what I think, not man.

Many people think and say that you "do not fit – you do not belong", but you are My true remnant who are "in the world but not of it". The changes you have gone through have not been easy – submitting to Me in ALL things, the tests, trials, tribulations, tears that have been shed, and the weariness that has set in. You have seen the left hand of your Potter secretly dealing with you, but My right hand has also upheld you. But, through it all, you have gone on, and all for My Glory!

There are some basking in the power that they THINK they possess, while trying to acquire a following unto themselves. They boast and put down "My sheep". They manipulate My people, focusing on recognition and reward. But, unfortunately, it is man's reward. And when it is something of man, it's a stench in the nostrils of your Almighty God.

Now My chosen ones will go forth to rescue and gather My sheep. I will seek that which was lost, bring back again that which was broken and strengthen that which was sick. I will feed My flock and I will cause them to lie down in peace and rest. I will find "all" of My sheep and I will deliver them during that dark DAY.

You have found that it is not popular to stand for Me. You have found that it has been costing you more and more. If you speak My words of judgment on America, you will be rebuked and reviled. But do not be afraid. Look up, for your redemption draws nigh. My Son warned that you would not be well-received and that they even think they are doing Me a favor by rejecting you. But, My Faithful Ones, oh, My Faithful Ones, because of your deep love and devotion to ME, you will hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

I AM assembling My Army and there is NO army in the world who will be able to stand against it. I have been training and strengthening each one of you and you WILL stand bold, courageous and triumphant. For only those who know their God will be able to stand in this DAY. My Glorious Beloved, you have been cleansed and perfected by the Blood of My Son, Jesus, and you shall open your hearts to the nations, taking the Blood of the Lamb wherever you go. You have relied and trusted solely on Me, and I will hide you beneath My wings in the times of judgment.

You are now about to see My plan unfold before your very eyes. Rejoice, for My glory is coming to My holy temple of living stones and My glory shall cover you as a garment. Those who see you will say, "Here is the favored of the Lord." Your redemption draws nigh. Enter into My gates with thanksgiving and into My courts with praise. In faith, proclaim your acceptance before Me, for I take great delight in you.

The enemy has sought to trouble you, but I will smite the enemy with confusion and I will cause him to be ashamed for troubling my righteous ones. I am about to unveil My overcomers who will strip the enemy of his captives and loose those he has held in bondage. Adorn yourselves with the garments of praise, for I have found you acceptable in My sight.

There is a blazing light shining through the darkness. It is My light and it is lighting the way. It is so intense that those who are blind will see it. It is so intense that it will be felt by this lost and dying world. I AM sending you forth with this light. Many, many, will see and believe. I AM sending you forth with a compassion and a mission to those in bondage and who are blind that they may be set free. And I will be their God and they will be My children. It's time, My children, it's time! Time for those holding in the light to shine it forth! For those who have had eyes to see and ears to hear, get ready to behold the most spectacular of shows that has ever been seen! The I AM is about to "spring" upon the world in great Majesty and Power! Through My remnant, My Right Hand Company, I shall do marvellous things, for I WILL have the victory! Today is the day of visitation. I PROCLAIM your emergence, NOW, for I AM bringing it forth! Behold, My children, behold!

BEHOLD YOUR ALMIGHTY GOD... I AM WHO I AM... YHWH.

Success is Born out of Defeat

"When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream.

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations,

"The Lord has done great things for them." The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad.

Bring back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.

He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,

bringing his sheaves with him." Psalm 126.

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. That's how God brings back our captivity.

The Lord wants us all to know that every single one of us here is very special to Him. He is saying that each one of us is special to Him.

Father, we thank You for this day. We thank You for what You have done. We thank You for the touch of Your Spirit. We thank You that You've expressed to us Your love, Your compassion, Your mercy, Your tenderness, Your goodness to each one of us.

We thank You that You have fulfilled Your promise, You've fulfilled Your promise to Your people as You always do. You never fail. You have promised to dwell in the midst of Your people as we give You praise, as we come to worship You, to give You the honour that You deserve.

And now You look to us, just as You have honoured us and loved us, that we should reciprocate and we should honour You and love You, and show that same kindness in our lives to others that You have shown to us, that same love that You have shown us that we should show that to others, the same goodness that You have showered upon us that we should shower it upon others.

God Makes Up For Our Inadequacies

Lord, we thank You for the presence of Your Spirit.

The messages in tongues are messages of praise and adoration and a reminder that God, through His Spirit, does not push, that He is ever patient and loving and merciful and kind. His grace is continually extended to all people. Whoever wants to come to Him can come to Him, and he is shown the way though Jesus.

One of the things God was saying through the message in tongues is that through His Spirit He makes up for our inadequacies. He helps us and encourages us in many ways that we don't even perceive, to actually help us and to make up for our inadequacies, our inabilities, our weaknesses, or in situations in life where we need help but can't help ourselves. He provides all that without us even knowing about it.

He is the One who watches over us all and He has our lives in His hand. He is fully in control in every way, even though He lets us make all the little decisions along the route so that He gives us total freedom. While He has an overall protective guard over us, He lets us have our free moral agency.

That is an amazing thing, that God has this umbrella of love over His people and has made allowance for everything and taken everything into account so that He can actually help us and provide whatever we need. We cannot perceive that from our physical standpoint in this physical life, but we will one day, when we look back on our lives, see the total providence of God over everything that transpires, so that He could bring us to glory, to be with Him. We will see that one day and see how amazing it is! 6th September 2003.

28th September 2003; Feast of Trumpets

To Those Who Fear His Name

One of the things that the Spirit is saying is that to those who fear His name He extends great mercy. And I was reminded of how people came together in great awe of God on these occasions to worship Him in the right way, in fear of Him, in great awe and reverence for His majesty and power, for His omnipotence, for His supremacy, not just because of His destructive potential but as they truly feared and had awe and respect for Him He showed great mercy.

And so He does the same today. He shows great mercy to those who love Him, and that love is based upon fear – the right Godly fear – reverence of Him.

Father, we thank You for this day and we thank You for reminding us of the right attitude and approach we need to have to You always – a great fear and reverence and awe for You, to fear to disobey You, to love Your ways, to love You, from the heart, to care about what is right and pure and true and good spiritually, so that Your Spirit may live within us, transforming us each day, and we should live for You each day and do all we do to please You and to live for You and not for ourselves. This is the foundation of a satisfying and fulfilling life.

Comprehend God's Magnificence

These are prayers of praise and gratitude to God, thanking Him for His goodness, His love and His mercy, for an outflow of the spirit, the human spirit, as it's touched by the Spirit of God, expressing gratitude and love to God for His love and His continual providence and care for us, His kindness toward us.

I sense that God wants us to understand how magnificent He is, how splendid and how awe inspiring Jesus is. The description of their greatness is just beyond words to describe.

God is healing wounds of the past, hurts and difficulties and anything that has hindered or been retained, God was lifting some of those hurts and healing through the prayer. God was using it as a vehicle of intercession.

The peace of God surpasses all understanding, as Paul wrote. Those who are open to the Spirit sense that. There is a tremendous peace of God that He places within us, in our spirit, to give us comfort, to give us reassurance, solace, encouragement. It is something that you cannot define but that you know when you've experienced it. 4th October 2003

7th October 2003; Day of Atonement

A Humble and Contrite Heart

I am reminded of the scripture where God says, a humble and a contrite heart He will not despise. For He is pleased by those who come before Him in such a manner, a humble, contrite fashion. And fasting helps us come before Him in such a manner, because we recognise that we are nothing and He is everything, that there is no fullness in us but the fullness is in Him. There is nothing intrinsically within us of any worth or of any longevity, that it is all from Him. We are reminded that He is the source and the origin of everything, He is the author and finisher of our faith. Father, we give You glory.

This is a time of rededication to God; a time for us to rededicate ourselves, that our hearts are right with Him, that the motive and direction of our lives should be totally directed towards Him, that nothing should get in the way or compromise our desire to serve Him first and foremost to the utmost of our ability.

Thank You, Father, for accepting our offering of praise. Thank You for accepting our offering this day as little as it is. Like the widow came before You with two mites, that's how we come and we thank You for accepting us.

Each Person Here Is A Treasure

I was reminded of the word 'treasure'. God is saying that each person here is a treasure, He treasures each person and each person is part of His heavenly treasure. He treasures each of us because we all have strength – the strength to do His will, which is our reason for living.

Jesus has specially chosen each of us. He is very careful and loving and He chooses people specifically and calls them to Himself. So great is the love of God, and so wondrous are His works that we cannot comprehend them because they are too numerous for us to understand.

God inhabits the praises of His people. He showers upon us His love and mercy and goodness, and gives help and strength and wants to encourage and uplift. That's what the Spirit wants to do, to encourage and uplift and strengthen and build up the inner person, to give courage and strength.

God's ways and thoughts are so far above our own that sometimes we don't understand how He works, but He works in ways that we don't expect and the important thing is that we trust Him, put our faith in Him, and He will work it out in a way that we do not even think. 11th October 2003

Take Time In The Secret Place

I was reminded of how the sacrifices in the Old Testament took time. We read about them in a matter of seconds or minutes, but it wasn't a quick thing to bring an animal and sacrifice it, for its blood to be shed, and for it to be dressed and ready and offered to God and burned on the fire. That took time – half an hour, an hour, who knows? And God requires an equal fire to cleanse us in our spiritual devotions, and if we skimp on that time we are not giving Him the due worship He deserves. So He's encouraging us to spend the quality time with Him, to take the time to put Him first, to go to the secret place and to be with Him, to spend that time with Him, that we will honour Him and lift Him up. And as we lift Him up in our hearts, He will lift us up in our lives.

For He is a God who wants to bless, to encourage and to do us good, for He is a God of love. He wants to demonstrate His love to us. We must give Him the opportunity and not deny Him that right, that privilege, and that honour.

Fashioning His People In His Image

I am reminded of Psalm 103:10, where God says He doesn't punish us as our sins deserve but He is merciful and forgiving and longing to forgive and be compassionate. God wants to bring us to Himself and draw us to Himself, to draw us to His Spirit, that we can reflect His image. For that is the pinnacle of His creation. He is creating His family, people, children, fashioned in His image so that He can accept them and love them and share everything that He has with each and every one of us. 17th October 2003.

An Uncompromising Stand Against Evil

Father, thank You for what You are doing. Thank You for this incredible love that You've showered upon Your people. Thank You for this purpose that You are working out. Thank You for strengthening us, and for reminding us to be strong and to counter the enemy, not to be foolish, not to be unwise, like You've warned us through Hezekiah, by his example, that He was unwise and didn't consider how evil the enemy was. [Isaiah 39.]

You remind us today that we have to take an uncompromising stand against evil, to make sure that other people don't push You out of our lives. You have warned us of that grave danger. Thank You Father for warning us in no uncertain terms. It is up to us how we respond to Your prompts, as to how much we enjoy of that wonderful relationship You've made possible for us.

We thank You, Father, for the constant revelation that You give. You remind us that that revelation comes as we step out and as we are willing to go. And as we do what You have shown us to do already, You speak line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little. You do so as we are willing to go and as we are willing to act upon what You give. You lead us step by step in every situation as we do Your will, and take Your love to other people who are hurting, to bring them to You, to feed them with the truth that we are privileged to have in the literature You have given us.  Malcolm B Heap
