Tomas and Yasmin were continuing the MM outreach in Iran, and Riek soldiered on in South Sudan, all of them against massive opposition!

5th Jan 2016. 18:57. From Tomas: Thanks. We have been in a very tight region in Iran where even our phone we had to switch off for we were being sought after by police and Islamic authorities. Now we are in Egypt. We have survived on water and milk only. It is God who has made us even much stronger than before. Yasmin is doing well. God bless.

19:29. Reply: Thanks for writing. You must have had some close escapes, and some interesting encounters with various people. I look forward to hearing about the people whom you have managed to reach. I wonder about the ones who have been arrested and imprisoned. I don't suppose you know how they are doing, do you? Prison conditions in Iran for Christians must be awful. The ones whom God has called, knowing they would be imprisoned, must be a steadfast and hardy number, willing to endure privation and difficulty.

Riek Suffered Violence In South Sudan

5th Jan 2016. 19:11. From Riek: I have been in Islamic and SDA jail. I got arrested on 17th Dec last year when I was found discussing the MM lit Why Jesus? with youths in Juba. These people beat me and torched my house and stole all my belongings terming me luminati. I am left with nothing except my wife and children. It is the MM Faith lit that I kept in my pocket that I used to escape. I have moved out of my village to a no-man's land near the border. God bless.

20:00. Reply: Oh Riek, I am so sorry to hear all that. I have forwarded your e-mail to John, who is on his way to Libya at the moment, but we are all so low in funds that I'm not sure what we can do yet.

19:42. Reply: God has good reasons for allowing all this trauma your family has been through. He judges and punishes evildoers who attack His servants. There was a prophecy last year (I think it was) that a number of SDA pastors will finally be brought to conversion and will acknowledge and support MM, so they will be brought to repentance because of what you have suffered... John is right that you should use Faith lit to defend yourself in every situation where you are threatened. You have seen how God honours your faith when you do that. He has given us that. The angels recognise and rally to our defence.

I don't know if John was able to send you any money. He doesn't have much. We are struggling at the moment without funds...

Yasmin Arrested In Iran

I need to inform you of a serious situation at the moment regarding lack of funds, so that you don’t badger J for what he can’t send you, because he is low, too. You are going to have to rely upon God a bit more to stretch what you have, or to perform other miracles to get you out of difficulties caused by lack of money. We don’t have any here, and are also short. So we wait upon God...

Does your car have Midnight Ministries written on the side?

In Iran and Iraq, are you followed everywhere because of that? I presume that is why they tail you. But, is it that they are thwarted from arresting you because you hold up a Faith booklet towards them, and the power of God prevents them apprehending you? Yes?

16th Jan 2016. 18:36. From Tomas (and Yasmin):

Yasmin was arrested today while sharing MM lits with Muslim youths in Iran. His clothes were burnt. He got dipped in to salty water. When I ran there with a Faith lit another group broke in to our house and stole all our belongings then burnt our bed. John sent us £100 yesterday which we have all used. Yasmin can't walk due to injuries he sustained. It is the MM Faith lit that made his captors run leaving him free. When I opened it before them they cried of fire coming out of the book towards them and they ran leaving Yasmin. God bless.

17th Jan 2016. 6:36. From Tomas: Yes the car has the MM label on it. I carry my Faith lit all the time. That's why they haven't reached [caught] me. These people hate Christians... I can see Yasmin is improving. We have got nothing in hand after buying bedding and clothes from what J sent us. No food, no water.

Fatimah’s Mother Resurrected

10th Jan 2016. 19:43. From Benjamin: ... We have got news from one of Fatmah’s step family that they saw someone who looks like Fatmah’s mother and they said it might be her due to a mark on her face that makes them believe she is alive. They say that they followed her and she disappeared from them mysteriously. It might be true but still we do not have any more strong evidence over this. We are following up on this.

20:14. To Rhoda and Mark: We are expecting that God will be raising a number of people from their graves in Africa to support MM’s witness. I just received this note from Benjamin in Oyugis, and I wonder whether it is a genuine occurrence or whether it was a demonic apparition. If you have any input on it from the angels I would be grateful. Thanks. [I was very sceptical. I suggested it was a demonic trick.]

19:10. From Benjamin: The tomb of Fatmah’s mother was open and her body is not there. We have not got any news where she might be. What we can now believe is that she is truly raised from the dead. God is truly working miracles through MM. Don’t give up, however much opposition you pass through Malcolm. Support Africa, support Middle East, and the whole world so they may know what God’s love is all about, that they may know what living in faith needs. Fatmah has not been in peace and what she wants is to see her mother who we don’t know how to find at this time but we pray that as she lives they shall meet again... B

19:50. Reply: Tell Fatimah to be patient and wait for God’s instructions. When she is meant to meet her mother, God will communicate about it. Mean- while, encourage her to keep studying the MM booklets so she is familiar with what they contain. It is essential to know what these booklets contain so that the new people can be directed to the answers for their lives in the MM publications.

11th Jan 2016. 16:41. To Fatimah: ...You will be delighted, I’m sure, to hear this news. I know nothing more about this situation. But my hunch is that your mother was told by God where to go and stay. Probably the angels would have told a believer to expect her arrival and to accommodate her. Presumably that is in Somalia.

Can you tell me a bit about your mother? What is her name?

What age was she when she died, and what date or year was that?

Where was she buried?

My mother... died when I was still young... I believe she was in her early 40s when she died. We know she was brought back to life despite her no whereabout. It was confirmed when my step family got the news of her being seen in Oyugis town once by people who knew her and with a mark of an injury she had on her forehead she got due to brutal beatings at the Kakumah camp where we lived before getting re-married to Ayoma my stepfather who settled us here in Oyugis and later sent me away after my mother’s death. The story of my mother also brings back old memories of all that I passed through in my childhood and never wish to remember anything that took place, my journey from Somalia into the hardship in Kenya.

 I believe she is at peace where she is. That’s why she has not searched for me since God gave her another chance to live in this life time... Fatmah

I got a dream last night that my mother was led by the angels and is now in Somalia. I do not know anything and have not heard any more since I heard she came back to life.

Concluding The Congo Mission

26th Jan 2016. 7:30. From Nyasirwa: We have not made it back to Uganda. We are still at a place called Gitarama in Congo, we have been at Sheikh S’s home more than a week together with other 18 Muslims who came to get the good news. They stopped us on our way and we thought it was a trap to kill us, but the angels appeared and told us to go and give out the Word of God to them. S was the head of the mosque in this region and God has shown him, together with other Muslims, the way...  [More on the miraculous Congo mission: see p 43 & 46.]

Sabotaged In Iran

26th Jan 2016. 10:52. From Tomas: We got a bad road accident and we sustained serious injuries. We're down financially. The car is in bad condition...

11:56. Reply: Prayer is the only answer in this situation. The devil is attacking us all, left, right and centre!! We are also down financially. How long can you survive on the money you have, and keep in contact with us?

TAKE MM FAITH LIT, SIT ON IT AND YOU WILL GET WELL. I woke up and truly it was at midnight, I did sit on the lit and all my pains stopped there and then. I worshipped God then till morning for healing me.

29th Jan 2016. 11:30. From John: At midnight a hand grenade was thrown at Fatu's car, smashing the front glass. When we came out of the vans we saw a person run into the darkness and he disappeared. We have just fixed the glass now and are moving on with the mission. We can't tell where the assailant went to. God bless.

To Sujadi: The hand grenade you lobbed at our car smashed the windscreen, but God prevented it from exploding, and you reaped the reward of your disobedience to God's command which was NOT to attack us. If you want your eye back, you can have it if you acknowledge Jesus Christ. HE IS THE HEALER, and He will forgive you if you turn away from your wickedness and stop attacking us. If you are sorry for the harm you have caused us, you can repay us for these attacks and what they have cost us. You can pay for that windscreen for a start.

Dear Malik,

How To Inherit God’s Kingdom

God’s 7 angels came to Rhoda in Kenya tonight and told her to write to me here in the UK. She sent me an e-mail this evening. The angels asked me to write to you about how you can inherit God’s kingdom.

Jesus explained this, and what He said about it is recorded in the Bible in John’s gospel chapter 3. In that account, Nicodemus came by night to Jesus to ask Him this same question. Jesus replied to him:

Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).

What Jesus meant by being born again is then explained in that chapter. The spirit in us needs to be ‘reborn’. He doesn’t mean physically. He means spiritually. It needs to be renewed by God’s Spirit. Jesus said: Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God (John 3:5).

To enter God’s kingdom, first we must accept Jesus as our Saviour. He paid the price of our sins by dying on the cross. He did that willingly, to pay the death penalty for all sin in our place. That is a measure of the greatness of His love for us all, as explained in John 3:16-17. Jesus came to save people from eternal damnation, so “that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16.) That everlasting life is only available through Jesus (Acts 4:12), no other way.

This simple trust in Jesus, this belief in Him and in what He has done for us in His love, is what saves us, as Paul explained:

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that [faith] not of yourselves; it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8).

Jesus is the only one who has the power to save us because He is God. He came to earth in human form as the Son of God. He showed us how to live, and He died to redeem all who will accept Him. Those who will not accept Him will not receive eternal life (John 3:18).

As an outward token of our acceptance of Jesus as our personal Saviour, we should be baptised in water, which symbolises the process of death and rebirth – the spiritual transformation that then takes place in us after baptism, as we accept Jesus’ Spirit living in us. As we learn to submit to His Spirit and obey Him, He leads us, protects us, and guides us towards His coming kingdom. This is all explained in much more detail in MM’s booklets.

No one has ascended to heaven (paradise) by his own efforts (John 3:13), because no one is righteous except Jesus. All, except Jesus, have sinned (Romans 3:23), and the wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23).

Jesus was the Christ, the Saviour, because He never sinned (Hebrews 4:14-15), so as the perfect sinless Lamb of God, His sacrifice on the cross was able to pay for the sins of the whole world. His life was worth more than the sum total of all human life. He was and is God. He is to be worshipped and obeyed. The Ten Commandments outline for us the start of that obedience, and the New Testament expounds it more.

God loves you and offers you salvation in Jesus, your Lord and Saviour.

19:12. From John: Malik's move has brought much opposition on us here. This evening we have been surrounded three times by armed youths claiming that MM is ruining other denominations, more so Islam. We are set with our MM Faith lits. God bless.

31st Jan 2016. 14:18. From Riek: Thanks to God. We are still in the open, no house. A person shot my wife in the arm. I have spent all that John sent us. Pray for us...

11:05. To John and Mark: Yes, don't worry about lack of funds. We have lacks, too, but God enables us to do what is in His plan even WITH shortage of funds. I have found that whenever funds are short, there are reasons, and even that can be part of God's plan. He is testing our faith in Him, 'stretching' our faith – helping us to learn how to continue to trust Him despite what things look like. We have to learn not to look at circumstances, but to look beyond them to the ALL-POWERFUL, and ALL-CAPABLE abilities of God. He will work things out. Jesus walked on water. So have we (metaphorically speaking). So can you. He carries us all on the wings of His Spirit.

1st Feb 2016. 10:51. From Riek: At midnight yesterday God moved me to touch the arm with the MM Faith lit seven times. After which my wife started palpitations profusely. When she settled, blood came out of the arm removing the bullet. She is taking a rest now. God is great.

Urgency In Algeria

Now we are in Collo.  We hope to cover a great work tomorrow for we must be out of Algeria by Friday this week. The car that Sujadi used to chase after us was spotted in Collo town today morning. We still don't know their intention. God bless.

'SUJADI HAS BEEN ARRESTED BY POLICE NOW AND BEEN FOUND WITH SHORT GUNS. ALERT THE EVANGELISM TEAM TO GO TO COLLO POLICE STATION AND PROVIDE MORE EVIDENCE FOR HIM TO BE PUT IN TILL THE MISSION IS OVER. TOMAS HAS A PROBLEM FOR THEIR CAR CANNOT MOVE.' 7 angels have said that to me now.

And did you hear any more about Malik receiving the Holy Spirit at midnight on Sunday night?

2nd Feb 2016. From John: We tabled our evidences based on how Sujadi has fought us. He was thrown into the prison.

Malik went into a deep sleep from the time we placed the MM Faith lit...

Comment: Tonya managed to get the £1k by putting it on a credit card which took it up to its limit. We have borrowed up to the hilt, twice over!

3rd Feb 2016. 8:49. From Vuga: Hi. I am very grateful to God for taking us this far. After the arrest of Sujadi, life has become tremendously difficult. We have been traced by numberless cars from yesterday. Fatu is down with Malaria. Malik is in a coma. We need to change all tyres in these vehicles... John has said that if all tyres are changed plus fuel then we are to be left with only £60 in the kitty, not enough to take us for even three days... You know John and Mark have got very unique faith that even in hardship they endure.

9:07. Reply: That's OK. Don't worry. You are in God's hands. He tests our faith, and 'stretches' it by trials like these.

You know God's PROMISE of healing. Just tell Fatu to keep trusting God to heal her and He will.

Malik is "slain in the Spirit". It may look like a coma, but he is being renewed spiritually by being in the presence of Jesus. He'll tell you about it when he comes round (like God dealt with Jeftah).

There is a message from Rhoda today, which came 2 hours BEFORE yours, so you didn't need to ask for money. The Only One you ever need ask for your needs is God, not us, because we can't provide unless God provides. God is the Provider and He provides for you, so just keep looking to Him. And when the money runs out, still keep looking to Him, because He can 'carry' you and cause you to walk on water.

3rd Feb 2016. 9:05. From John: ...Now as I write there is a crisis. All the tyres need replacement. We must be out of Algeria before Friday night for a group is tracing after us since Sujadi got arrested. We have only £3200 in our kitty which is not enough for all the requirements. God bless.

3rd Feb 2016. 17:01. From Rhoda: [who lives in a remote area] ...Life is hard here but our God enables us to endure, even going for a month with water and milk only. I have seen God through MM lits do a lot, even tightly shutting the mouths of lions from feasting on me in a lonely land. God is God. God bless.

From Rhoda: [I had asked Rhoda about the lion attacks.] Last month when the wild beasts crossed into the area where I live a lion chased a young wild beast up to my compound and when I came out with an opened MM lit and faced the lion with it, it left the beast and ran back into the wilderness as if being chased by many people and I saved the beast.

Now it is three weeks since I started taking water and milk only in prayer for the evangelism team. All happens through God. God bless.

4th Feb 2016. 12:48. From John: Thanks. Yes we replaced all the tyres. The kitty is left with £700 after using what Tonya sent. X too sent me £165. We bought enough water and 5 cartons of milk for the journey. God bless.

4th Feb 2016. 14:41. [Arrived in my inbox at 16:22.] From Riek’s wife: Hi. This Rebecca Riek. Today morning a very big snake bit Riek while he was cutting grass to thatch our small house. I believe He has set this situation up, allowing the awful attack from the snake to happen, to show up the evils in those mockers, who will all be put to shame and either killed (if they are irredeemably wicked) or brought to repentance (if God can salvage them). They will witness the power of God that is with us because of His Truth which we hold to preserve it. And that ought to be a sign to them that they need to surrender to God and live by this truth which MM brings.

I presume Riek did not lose consciousness, even though the angels said something should be done within 7 minutes (but that was not possible as the e-mail only arrived here more than an hour and a half after you wrote).

I don't know much about snakes, but I assume that a black mamba is a very venomous snake... God bless.

5th Feb 2016. 18:58. From Riek: Thanks. 6 people who came to attack me were all hit with lightning and died. Their bodies were taken by police and the cause of death was stated as natural cause. We received money from John and did purchase building materials. Tomorrow we shall have Sabbath rest then continue with building work on Sunday. We are okay. Imam Malik’s Experience In The Spirit

5th Feb 2016. 18:35. From John’s phone: Hi this is Malik. [Malik was “slain in the Spirit” for 5 days!] Thanks a lot for showing me light. The day God visited me in 7 bright lights followed by a dream, I saw a white man and his wife pointing me to a tall hill whose top had literature entitled Midnight Ministries and young men in vans labelled MM. That was the day I approached the evangelism team and John gave me a paper entitled How to Inherit God's Kingdom. I read it for over 21 hours and when John touched my head with an MM Faith lit I spiritually died and in that sleep I saw seven Angels in white bright clothes washing me in clean water. First they washed my clothes, then my mouth, then hands, then legs and lastly my head. The soap they used was written “MM”. Then they wiped my face with an MM lit titled Faith: Raising Our Level Of Expectation. And all my clothes had the mark MM on them. When I woke up I found myself surrounded with MM lits.

Now I have been officially excommunicated from my family for denouncing Islam. All my trust is in my God. Thanks.

5th Feb 2016. 20:11. From Nyasirwa: We left Rwanda yesterday and now we are at Uvira, Congo. S and others helped us in raising funds to reach here. The Muslims came in search of us but S protected us, they wanted to see us dead after their mosque burst into flames and burned down to the ground. We are still going to spend two days here until my wife manages to sell some of what I have at home and send us money to travel back home. This has been one of the greatest trips I have ever made in my lifetime doing God’s work and indeed it has been a blessing to those we met who accepted our message.
