Angels With Burning Lamps

He [Jesus] was the burning and shining lamp,

and you were willing for a time to rejoice in His light (John 5:35).

John related these two experiences when angels appeared to him carrying burning lamps:

4th August 2014. 14:32. Last night I was given a vision which sounded like a command. An angel with a burning lamp stood before me and said: "John, arise and complete the work you began. Start with Kisii, then Kericho and Kakamega prisons, for My people are in need of truth. Go, baptise them in My name. Don’t worry about your needs. God has seen your heart. He will take care of your financial and non financial needs, just arise, go and distribute MM truth. I have already chosen My prophet Mark to instruct you on whatever I require. Don't fear, I am ahead of you. About the means to travel, already My servants have provided a van for MM work. Just relax and demonstrate faith." J

4th August 2014. 17:52. Mark also received that input.

6th August 2014. 20:02. May the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be praised. From Burnt Forest the devil wanted to block my going to Kakamega because the Nissan minibus we were travelling in had a tyre blowout. It rolled, injuring 4, including the driver. I came out safely and because of traffic jam due to that accident we stayed at that spot up to 11:00 a.m. I boarded another vehicle and arrived safely in Kakamega at 2:00 p.m. and did the baptism for 5 inmates. I left for Nairobi at exactly 5:00 p.m...

Last night 7 angels appeared to me all carrying burning lamps and instructed me that from this exercise of baptism, I move to Ukerewe Island in Tanzania to take the MM truth in books. When I asked the means I will use to do so, they replied "you will use MM van God has provided." J

Reply: 20:56. That's good. Things are moving on. I suggest that your Ukerewe Island trip is for the near future. There is no van at present, but God is assuring you and Mark that there will be one in due course. So the angels speak of those things that be not as though they were, because they see the future which we can't. ... I have been in pain all day, and still am in pain, bearing burdens that only God knows about. It's hard. God bless.

The Burning Lamp Represents God’s Truth

The first mention of a burning lamp or burning torch is in Genesis 15:17, where God appears to Abram, assuring him that God is his shield and “exceedingly great reward”. God ratifies the covenant He has made with Abram, promising him that his descendants will be as numerous as the stars of heaven (Gen 15:5). God had revealed Himself and His truth at that time to the prophet Abraham. The burning torch is surely representative of the purging, purifying activity of the fire of God, His Spirit of Truth.

This Spirit of burning is prophesied to spiritually cleanse Zion, the former city of God, a symbol of God’s people and of His Church today.

Jesus is the Light of Israel. Isaiah prophesied of this cleansing that Jesus will effect in His judgement upon wickedness amongst His people:

The Lord, the Lord of hosts, will send leanness among his fat ones; and under his glory He will kindle a burning like the burning of a fire. So the Light of Israel will be for a fire and his Holy One for a flame. It will burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day (Is 10:16,17).

God’s Truth brings people under judgement – under condemnation, if they refuse to obey. So, when His Truth goes out, it is like a burning lamp. It can enlighten the obedient. It can burn up the disobedient. 

Here is a revealed description of God’s throne:

From the throne proceeded lightnings, voices and thunderings. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God (Revelation 4:5).

“The seven Spirits of God” is a literal rendition of what is in the original. It may be rendered also as “the sevenfold Spirit of God”. God has many spiritual capacities.

In the two messages of the angels to John Ongoro above, they told him to take MM publications and use them in his prison evangelism to reach inmates with the truths of God. He saw the angels in those visions holding burning lamps which represent the truths of God that they have brought to us from God and which are now in MM publications.

If the seven lamps of fire are “the seven spirits of God”, and the angels brought those lamps to John, telling him to use MM literature, He is confirming what He has said to others about MM lit, that He has inspired it, and it is now our lamp of His fire to shine the truth to others.

It brings enlightenment / understanding to the spiritually hungry. And it brings the fire of judgement upon those who reject it and rebel. It is the prophetic witness from God’s throne for these days of Elijah.
