Mighty Miracles Of God Volume 11 |
141When God's Judgement Fell
|
The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18).
When John and the team returned from the mission in South Sudan, he found that Onjonga and his four sons and the area chief were dead. Onjonga was a witchdoctor who had killed John’s father and caused untold suffering to John and his family, but when John confronted him with an MM Faith booklet, the man fell at his feet and met with God. This story is related on page 50 of Mighty Miracles of God Volume 1. He received a powerful touch from God which temporarily turned his life around. For a while he stopped persecuting John’s family and gave up his witchcraft. In a dream he received, God showed him to help John and support him, but he didn’t do that. Instead, he embarked on constructing a church building, to establish a congregation which he then would preside over to compete with what God was doing through John. The area chief had also seen the power of God and acknowledged His supremacy – for a while. But he later stepped back and turned away from the faith, and became hostile to MM and fought against John. God’s judgement fell on all those people. They had their chance for salvation, but despised it, and loved the wages of unrighteousness. John wrote to me on 9th April 2017, expressing relief that there was now peace. It’s the same in the world. Peace will not come till God judges the wicked and either converts them, if possible, or wipes them off the earth. On 8th May 2017 John related this news also: Onjonga’s stepmother and younger brother who have been fighting me and spreading falsehood about MM in the village here just collapsed and died when they conspired to hijack me on the way and kill me. The stepmother died at noon and the younger brother at midnight, all sweating and crying of hot coal. Their names are Pasakila and Jasiti. But the relentless opposition did not abate. Satan was also using Abdullah Riyadh to stir up trouble. |
